I moved... yes again... stop judging.... really.. you'll understand.... ok ok here is the nut shell version.
Erika's finances created a problem and she needed a cheaper place and I couldn't afford to live in the apartment we were at on my own.. So the start for a new apartment began.. I looked and looked and found one. Then I realized that I needed to sell mine. So I posted and ad on Craigslist and KSL Classifieds and sold the contract in a week. That same week I found my new place. I found one I can afford on my own incase roommates don't work out. I love it and the HUGE perk is I am NEXT DOOR to my BEST FRIEND! !Yesterday Amanda came over to borrow a can opener! I was so excited to let her! It is so much fun. I have been in the new place since the 16th of April. I am still unpacking..... BUT its ok. I have had a great distraction and dont mind. Sometimes the distraction helps me out alot.. ok all the time the distraction helps. Life is indeed super dooper awesomely stupendously great :-) (oh and I got the picture from the amazing site www.apartmenttherapy.com...)
- Dont pack everything in 2 days ( I packed for a week-ish before the move... so much easier this time)
- Find someone with a truck and trailer (this time around I did and it made things so much easier... 1 trip... verses the last move (at least 5 trips to place #1 then about 6 more to the next place) I trailer would have minimized this to about 3 trips)
-Take a day to clean before you move in ( I didn't to this for either move... lesson learned... :-P)
Thats basically what I learned from this move. Learn from me. Nuff Said.
