And ThenThere Were Moore: September 2012

Introducing the newly established Moore Family! This is a long post but I have a lot to include in this and for documentation purposes I don't want to leave much out.. and yes... its sappy.. funny.. and well... its my fairytale!

So I had done a lot with online dating and I had just about had it with the creepers! I dated one guy who was flat out amazing.. We talked and dated for a total of 6-ish months. Things just weren't how they needed to be. It was a really heart breaking break up. Then I went on dates with another guy and that didn't work.. In between all of this I went on lots of other dates with different guys. Some gentlemen, some were.. well... just plain SCUM! One night I seriously had had it! I took one last look.. decided to send out one last message, and whatever happens happens. I replied to BoyScoutExperiment. The next day I had an email in my inbox from BoyScoutExperiment.. shocking.. as this is how this stuff always goes. I took a look at the email.

Hey Kenzie! Thanks for your response. Do you know Brad Wagstaff? We served our missions together in Thailand. He was one of the best people I ever knew.

Anyway, I'd be thrilled for the opportunity to get to know you. Please, tell me more about yourself.

So we started emailing back and forth. It was of the best email exchanges EVER. He sent me the following pics!

I was soooooo AMAZED with Ross! He was honest, open.... but hold on Kenzie! You need to meet him in person! So we arranged our first phone call. The call was several hours long. It was as if we were old friends. It was the most amazing phone call I have ever had. It was life changing... We decided to meet!

THE MEET: December 21st 2011

We had been chatting all day on G-Chat. I got his address and I pull up to his house... I know I know... you don't do that on the first meet, but I did.. so there! So.. I had driven by several times... sooo nervous & excited. I pull up to his house and sit there praying that everything will be safe and that I wouldn't get raped ;) but really. So I walk up his LONG walk down the middle of his yard.. trying to keep calm. I walk up the stairs and he opens his door (he had clearly been watching for me to come), we say hello and we walk in to his living room. He leans in and kisses me.. I know.. fast mover.. but guess what...?? I kissed him back. He had made me a delicious Thai dish. We talked and talked. It was fantastic.

Things went in the following order:

12/21/2012: First Met. First kiss. Love at first site.

12/22/2011: Met the kiddos. Decided to get married.. Dont judge when you know you know!!!

12/23/2011: Ross met my Family on my birthday. My family instantly approved! And so did Amanda!

12/24/2011: Ross met my extended family, and I met his family

12/25/2011: We spent time at both families house

12/31/2012: Spent New Years together

2/2012: Got my ring

4/6/2012: Got Married in the Mount Timp Temple.

We have spent every day together since the day we met. I know for a certainty that this is the man that the Lord made for me. I know that we are meant to be. He is the man of my dreams.

That my friends is how I went from Single to Moore.
